This page collects the research collaborations I’ve completed or am pursuing with University of Oregon students. The EKI is dedicated to making high-quality energy knowledge more accessible, specifically by improving categories of Wikipedia pages.
For the first EKI project, a student intern (Charlotte Shewchuk) and I developed new formatting elements for the category of Wikipedia pages summarizing solar power in individual countries. Read our write-up here: Energy knowledge was broken so we fixed* it.
Our refinements created new page-specific refinements (an infobox for deployment on any solar power country page) and additions to existing content (via the Solar power by country page). Charlotte assembled a how-to manual for solar power by country page enhancements. You can find the manual here: How to Create an Infobox for a Solar Power in [country] Wikipedia Page
